  • Which documents are required for an employee of a company (organization) to obtain “Asan Imza”?

    In order to obtain “Asan Imza” for an employee of the company (organization) it is required to provide ID card and the signature and stamp of the director on the letterhead of the company (organization) on the approved Sample Form 1 (Appendix 7) (Taxes Asan Imza)

  • I haven’t used “Asan Imza” for several months. Is debt accumulated for this period?

    No debt is accumulated during the period when Asan Imza is not used.

  • Can I open VÖEN with “Asan Imza”?

    Yes, after obtaining a “Citizen” type of “Asan Imza” certificate, you can apply online to the State Tax Service online and obtain a VÖEN.

  • Do I need to have VÖEN to get “Asan Imza”?

    No, “Asan Imza” can be used by both those who have VÖEN and those who do not. Accordingly, all citizens with ID card of the Republic of Azerbaijan can get an “Asan Imza”. Those who want to obtain a “Business” type of “Asan Imza” do not necessarily need to have VÖEN.

  • Eventhough I have received a duplicate of my number for “Asan Imza” service, I still can’t use the service. What should I do in this case?

    You need to activate your “Asan Imza” certificates by visiting one of the Asan Certification Services Center under the State Tax Service.

  • Why can’t I use “Asan Imza” even if the relevant amount is deducted from the balance after sending an SMS to the short number “8500”?

    The abovementioned situation may occur only if you have not applied for prolongation of “Asan Imza” service. In this case, you need to physically activate your certificates by visiting the Asan Certification Services Center under the State Tax Service.

  • “Asan Imza” service was suspended due to the fact that I didn’t pay the monthly subscription fee. How can I restore it?

    When you increase balance on your mobile phone, the monthly subscription fee for “Business” type of “Asan Imza” service will be automatically deducted by the mobile operator and the service will be activated.

  • How is the monthly subscription fee for “Asan Imza” service paid?

    Currently, there is no monthly subscription fee for “Citizen” and “Government” type “Asan Imza” service. The monthly subscription fee constitutes 2.50 AZN only for “Business” type “Asan Imza” service. Аfter increasing the balance of your mobile phone, the monthly subscription fee for “Asan Imza” will be automatically deducted.

  • Will I be able to use my number as usual after activation of “Asan Imza” service on my number? Can I make and receive phone calls?

    Surely, after activation of “Asan Imza” service on existing number you will be able to use your number as before, receive and make calls.

How to get?

  • First time obtainment

    I have never had “Asan Imza” certificates. I want to activate the “Asan Imza” service and receive a certificate(s).

    1. Contact your mobile operator (Azercell, Bakcell, Nar) for “Asan Imza” SIM card (Mobile ID).
      List of Azercell customer service centers, where “Asan Imza” SIM cards can be purchased.
      List of Bakcell customer service centers, where “Asan Imza” SIM cards can be purchased.
      List of Nar customer service centers, where “Asan Imza” SIM cards can be purchased.
    2. Fill out the application form.
    3. Sign the application for the “Asan Imza” service activation.
    4. The mobile operator will provide you “Asan Imza” SIM card and activate the “Asan Imza” service.
    5. Visit ASXM Center and provide all necessary documentation for getting “Asan Imza” certificates.
    6. Fill out the application and sign the annex to the subscriber contract for the provision of acceptance/cancellation of “Asan Imza” service.
    7. ASXM Operator activates “Asan Imza” certificates, a user signs a notification about the certificates activation.
  • Online receival of “Business” and “Governmental” type of certificates on the basis of “Asan Imza” “Citizen” type of certificate

    ONLINE RECEIVAL OF “ASAN IMZA” BUSINESS/ OR GOVERNMENTAL TYPE OF CERTIFICATES

    I have a valid “Asan Imza” Citizen type of certificate. I want to receive additionally Business or Governmental type of certificate.

    1. Fill out and sign an online application for getting of the “Asan Imza” “Business/Governmental” type of certificate on the e-taxes.gov.az portal (please follow this link for a detailed procedure for online getting “Asan Imza” certificates).
    2.  The application is sent to the Asan Certification Services Centre (ASXM).
    3.  ASXM Operator checks information in the application. If all provided information meets the ASXM requirements, then Agreement on the provision of certification services, notification of the activation of certificates, “Asan Imza” mobile electronic signature certificates are sent to the user’s “Asan Imza” self-service portal, located on the e-taxes.gov.az portal. In case if the information is not correct, the user receives a notification from “Asan Imza” self-service portal.

    My “Asan Imza” Citizen type certificate is about to expire

    I want to prolong the “Asan Imza” service and Citizen type certificate.

    1. Fill out and sign an online application for the prolongation within 30 days before the expiry date of the “Asan Imza” “Citizen” type certificate on the “Asan Imza” self-service portal, located on the e-taxes.gov.az portal. (please follow this link for a detailed procedure for the certificates prolongation)
    2. The application is sent to the Asan Certification Services Centre (ASXM).
    3. After the expiration date of the “Asan Imza” service send SMS with the text “ferdi” to the short number “8500” to activate the “Asan Imza” service for “Citizen” type for the next 3 years * (Please follow these links for the detailed procedure for “Asan Imza” service prolongation via SMS: AzercellBakcellNar) * Notice: • “Asan Imza” service prolongation via SMS for the next three years is possible for users who use “Asan Imza” SIM card; • Subscribers who have activated the “Asan Imza” service “Citizen” type will be able to use only the “Asan Imza” “Citizen” type certificate, the use of “Asan Imza” certificates for “Business” and “Governmental” types for this category of users is not provided.

    2. The application is sent to the Asan Certification Services Centre (ASXM).
    3.     I want to prolong the “Asan Imza” service and Citizen type certificate, and additionally receive Business or Governmental types of certificates.

    1. Fill out and sign an online application for the prolongation of the “Asan Imza” “Citizen” type of certificate “Asan İmza” self-service portal, located on the e-taxes.gov.az portal (please follow this link for a detailed procedure for the certificates prolongation) during the last 30 days before the expiration date of the “Asan Imza” certificate.
    2. Application form has been sent to ASXM.
    3.     * Application for online prolongation of “Asan Imza” certificates is saved in the system for 1 month after the expiration date of the “Asan Imza” service! This means that if the expiration date of the “Asan Imza” service is extended via SMS after 1 month + 1 day, then, the user will need to physically contact ASXM to receive “Asan Imza” certificates. 1.6 For getting additional “Business”/ ”Governmental” type of “Asan Imza” certificate fill out an online application on the “Asan Imza” self-service portal, located on e-taxes.gov.az portal (please follow this link for a detailed procedure for the getting online “Asan Imza” certificates).

    My “Asan Imza” Citizen, Business or Governmental types of certificates are about to expire

    I want to prolong the “Asan Imza” service and only the Citizen type certificate. I will not prolong Business or Governmental types of certificates.

    1. Fill out and sign an online application for the prolongation of the “Asan Imza” “Citizen” type of certificate on the “Asan Imza” self-service portal, located on the e-taxes.gov.az portal (please follow this link for a detailed procedure for the certificates prolongation) during the last 30 days before the expiration date of the “Asan Imza” certificate.
    2. The application is sent to the Asan Certification Services Centre (ASXM).
    3.   • I didn’t manage to online prolong my certificates 30 days before the end, what should I do now?

    1. Send SMS for prolongation of the “Asan Imza” service for the next 3 years: For prolongation of “Citizen” type service: ferdi For prolongation of “Business” type service: biznes For prolongation of “Governmental” type service: dovlet   (please follow these links for the detailed procedure for “Asan Imza” service prolongation via SMS: AzercellBakcellNar)
    2. Mobile operator prolongs “Asan Imza” service for the next 3 years.
    3. Visit ASXM Center and provide all necessary documentation for getting “Asan Imza” certificates.
    4. Fill and sign the application, signs the contract for the receipt of “Asan Imza” certificates and “Asan Imza” certificate.
    5. ASXM Operator activates “Asan Imza” certificates, a user signs a notification about the certificates activation.

PIN/PUK codes

  • What to do if “Asan Imza” PUK code is blocked?

    When PUK code is blocked, you need to contact your mobile operator again, make a duplicate of your “Asan Imza” number and visit ASXM Center to get new “Asan Imza” certificates.

  • What to do when “Asan Imza” PIN 1 and PIN 2 codes are blocked?

    When you enter PIN 1 and PIN 2 incorrectly 3 times, they will be blocked. PIN codes can be unlocked by using “Asan Imza” PUK code.

  • I lost my “Asan Imza” PIN1, PIN2 and PUK codes. How can I get them?

    For security reasons, PIN1, PIN2 and PUK codes of “Asan Imza” are provided only to you. Thus, in case if you lose them, you need to contact your mobile operator again, make a duplicate of your “Asan Imza” number and visit ASXM Center to get new “Asan Imza” certificates.

  • How to change “Asan Imza” PIN1/PIN2 codes?

     For secure authentication and signing, you can change your PIN1 and PIN2 codes in “Asan Imza” menu from your mobile phone.

  • Where are the “Asan Imza” PIN and PUK codes located?

    They are located under the scratch pattern next to the words, mentioned as “Asan Imza” PIN1, Asan Imza PIN2, Asan Imza PUK codes on the flip side of “Asan Imza” SIM card, provided by mobile operator.

  • For what “Asan Imza” PIN/PUK codes are used for?

    “Asan Imza” PIN/PUK codes are recognized as private, secure identification codes, which allow the use of “Asan Imza” SIM-card. These codes are printed on the “Asan Imza” SIM-card and hidden under the scratch layer. PIN1 is used for identification and PIN2 for electronic signature. PUK code is used to unblock or replace PIN1 and PIN2 codes.

    Notice*
    After entering 3 (three) times incorrectly PUK code, the service will be blocked. A user needs to apply again to obtain “Asan Imza” service by visiting the mobile operator, and then obtain new certificates at the Asan Certification Services Center.

User ID

  • I have purchased an Asan Imza SIM card. How can I change my “Asan Imza” User ID?

    You can change your User ID using AsanDoc Client software. In the AsanDoc Client software, select the “Asan Imza” section and select the “Change User ID” button, and in the next window you can change the User ID. Additionally, you can change your User ID by entering the “Asan Imza” self-service portal on e-taxes.gov.az portal.

  • I want to use “Asan Imza” service, but forgot my User ID. How can I get this ID?

    When you receive an “Asan Imza” certificate from Asan Certification Services Center (ASXM) of the State Tax Service, you are also presented a notification “On activation of certificate” where User ID is shown. You can also learn your User ID by calling “1847” “Asan Imza” Call Center and providing information about FIN number from your ID card.

  • What documents are required to obtain “Citizen” type certificate of “Asan Imza”?

    Only ID card is requested to obtain “Citizen” type certificate of “Asan Imza”.

  • Do I need to pay for “Asan Imza” certificates?

    No, “Asan Imza” certificates are provided for free.

  • How can I find out the validity period of my “Asan Imza” certificates?

    You can check the validity period of your “Asan Imza” certificates through AsanDoc Client Software or by entering to the Asan Imza self-service portal on e-taxes.gov.az portal.

  • Should I get a new certificate in case if the duplicate is obtained again, or should I use the the existing certificate?

    In case of receiving a duplicate, a new certificate must be obtained.

  • What are the features of “Governmental” type certificate?

    Directors of state bodies or local municipal bodies can carry out all VÖEN related operations; employees of state bodies or local municipal bodies – can carry out operations within the powers assigned to them, in accordance with connection to the organization.

  • What are the features of “Business” type certificate?

    Individuals who are taxpayers – in addition with transactions, to be performed by citizen, can carry out all operations with VÖEN, (for example – declaration, sending e-tax invoice, performing transfers from the VAT deposit account, etc.); employees of individuals, who are taxpayers – in addition to personal transactions, can conduct VÖEN-related transactions with the powers assigned on Management page; directors of legal entities can carry out all VÖEN-related operations, except for personal operations; employees of legal entities – in addition to personal operations, can carry out operations related to the VÖEN within the powers assigned to them on the Management page.

  • What are the features of “Citizen” type certificate?

    An individual, who gets “Citizen” certificate can carry out operations only on behalf of herself/himself (she/he is able to send a Letter, Inquiry, Suggestion, Application, Complaint, Acknowledgment to the Online Clerical Section of the Internet Tax Office); she/he can register online legal entity with physical and local investment; an individual with a “Citizen” certificate can carry out operations with her/his VÖEN (obtained before or after receiving this certificate) with this certificate without obtaining a second certificate.

  • How many types of “Asan Imza” certificates are available for use?

    There are 3 types of “Asan Imza” certificates: Citizen; Business; Governmental.

Error messages

  • No “confirmation code” is displayed after logging in to any portal. What should I do in this case?

    Firstly, it is recommended to check whether SMS line is open on your phone or whether the PUK code is locked in the “Asan Imza” menu on your phone.

  • After registering to any portal with “Asan Imza”, the following message appears on the screen: “Telefon nömrəsi təyin olunmadı. Düzgün telefon nömrəsinin daxil edildiyindən əmin olun”. (“Phone number is not determined. Make sure to enter the correct phone number”). What should I do in this case?

    Make sure that your “Asan Imza” number or User ID is written correctly.

  • What should I do if while using Asan Imza “Error 0035” or “Please try again” message appears on the screen of my mobile phone?

    Firstly, it is recommended to contact your mobile operator. Please make sure that there are sufficient funds in your phone balance for use of “Asan Imza” service. Please check outgoing messages and calls.

  • While logging in to any portal as an employee of a company (organization) with “Asan Imza”, the following message appears on the screen: “Daxil olduğunuz imza ilə xidmətdən istifadə etmək üçün ya imzanızda “Möhür Vurma Səlahiyyəti” olmalı, ya da səlahiyyəti olan başqa şəxs bu imzaya icazə verməlidir”. (“In order to use this service with the entered signature, you must either have the “Stamp Authorization” on your signature, or another authorized person must authorize this signature”).

    In this case, the appropriate authority must be provided by the director.
