No, “Asan Imza” certificates are provided for free.

How can I find out the validity period of my “Asan Imza” certificates?
You can check the validity period of your “Asan Imza” certificates through AsanDoc Client Software or by entering to the Asan Imza self-service portal on e-taxes.gov.az portal.

Should I get a new certificate in case if the duplicate is obtained again, or should I use the the existing certificate?
In case of receiving a duplicate, a new certificate must be obtained.

What are the features of “Governmental” type certificate?
Directors of state bodies or local municipal bodies can carry out all VÖEN related operations; employees of state bodies or local municipal bodies – can carry out operations within the powers assigned to them, in accordance with connection to the organization.

What are the features of “Business” type certificate?
Individuals who are taxpayers – in addition with transactions, to be performed by citizen, can carry out all operations with VÖEN, (for example – declaration, sending e-tax invoice, performing transfers from the VAT deposit account, etc.); employees of individuals, who are taxpayers – in addition to personal transactions, can conduct VÖEN-related transactions with the powers assigned on Management page; directors of legal entities can carry out all VÖEN-related operations, except for personal operations; employees of legal entities – in addition to personal operations, can carry out operations related to the VÖEN within the powers assigned to them on the Management page.

What are the features of “Citizen” type certificate?
An individual, who gets “Citizen” certificate can carry out operations only on behalf of herself/himself (she/he is able to send a Letter, Inquiry, Suggestion, Application, Complaint, Acknowledgment to the Online Clerical Section of the Internet Tax Office); she/he can register online legal entity with physical and local investment; an individual with a “Citizen” certificate can carry out operations with her/his VÖEN (obtained before or after receiving this certificate) with this certificate without obtaining a second certificate.
