Azerbaijani innovation – Asan İmza caused a big interest in the U.S. at the KNOW 2019 Identity Conference

The KNOW Identity Conference took place on March 24-27, 2019 at the Aria, Las Vegas, USA. As the industry’s most important event on the calendar, KNOW 2019 Vegas has featured over 400 companies and 1,500 attendees. Azerbaijani innovation Asan İmza caused a big interest among the participants of the conference. The implementation of innovative mobile identity technology in Azerbaijan is being increasingly included into the best practices of various reports of international organizations as a tool to ensure the transparency of service delivery to population, accessibility and inclusivity.

Mrs. Krimpe – CEO and Founder of B.EST Solutions and co-chair of Global Alliance of National Mobile Identities (GANMI) has been discussing mobile identity related issues with other TOP global influencers in this area. She participated in two panels of the conference. The panel “Innovation for Empowered Digital Societies”, which convened solution providers and international organizations that are channeling the latest advancements in digital identity technology into achieving human development goals worldwide. It covered topics on how mobile identity, blockchain, AI, and more are empowering disadvantaged populations and expanding financial inclusion in underserved markets. The Panel was moderated by Rimma Perelmuter (UK) – 2018 KNOW Trust Leader of the Year. David Davies (Australia) – Founding CEO at AgUnity; Matt Homer (USA) – Principal at OWI; and Katherine Noall (New Zealand) – CEO at Sphere Identity participated at the discussions.

At the panel “Government Identities: Lessons from Around the World” were covered talks and presentations on deploying effective, secure digital identities focusing of foundational policy discussions around the globe. Within unique cultural, political, and economic contexts, more countries are piloting national identity systems, allowing citizens to access government services like taxes, and e-voting and banking, medical data at the push of a button. This panel convened experts from national identity schemes from around the world for a candid discussion on what’s worked and what hasn’t, and what should be coming next. David Black (UK) – Consultant at ID Crowd; Margus Arm (Estonia) – Head of Electronic Identity Department at Estonian State Information System Authority; Nathalie Oestmann (UK) – SVP of Global Innovation at IDEMIA participated at the given session.

Mrs. Krimpe has been nominated as a finalist by the identity community in the Outstanding Industry Leadership – Women in Identity Award in 3rd annual KNOW nominations. It is a distinguished award given to the women who had the greatest impact on the identity community through regulatory, legislative, or through leadership contributions.
