Getting signing certificates Service

Digital identities issued on SIM-cards contain private keys for two certificates — one for authentication and another for digital signing. In order to digitally sign a document, the signer must have a valid signing certificate, as the signature is only valid as long as the certificate used to give it is valid. Therefore, before an electronic document or a container of documents can be digitally signed, a request is sent to the certification authority to verify the validity of the signing certificate. In case the response is positive, i. e. corresponds to a specific set of requirements, the signer can proceed to signing.
