1. Getting Asan İmza (Mobil ID) SIM card
To subscribe to Asan İmza (Mobile ID) service, you need a SIM-card enabling this service. For subscription, be sure to have your ID-card with you in order to activate Asan İmza (Mobile ID) service. You can get Asan İmza SIM-card at customer service points of Azercell, Bakcell and Nar operators. Once subscribed to Asan İmza (Mobile ID) service, you will receive a new Asan İmza (Mobile ID) SIM-card which should be inserted into your mobile phone.
Asan İmza (Mobile ID) PIN codes are printed on the body of Asan İmza (Mobile ID) SIM-card and hidden under a scratch-off layer. New Asan İmza (Mobile ID) SIM-card’s scratch-off area must not be damaged. Remember that PIN1 is requested for authentication and PIN2 is requested for signature only.
2. Activating Asan İmza (Mobil ID) certificates
Turn to an office of the Asan Certification Service Centre of the State Tax Service (ASXM) in order to activate e-signature certificates. Please note that you need to bring an identification document (containing yours FIN number) with you. You can then apply for the activation of the Asan İmza (Mobile-ID) by filling in and signing an application form. See application form and other needed documents samples at the ASXM web site Documents section. The registrar of the Asan Certification Service Centre of Ministry of Taxes (ASXM) will approve your application and enter your data into system.
The registrar of the Asan Certifications Service Centre (ASXM) will explain to you the conditions of the Asan İmza (Mobile-ID) and print service contract. By signing the contract you accept the conditions of the Asan İmza (Mobile-ID) service and confirm that you have received certificates you applied for. The certificates will thereupon be activated and you are ready to start using the Asan İmza (Mobile-ID) services (authentication and digital signing).
There are three types of Asan İmza (Mobile ID) certificates – personal (citizen), governmental and for business entities and individual entrepreneurs. A personal (citizen) certificate is for personal use only, i. e. you can only use one to represent yourself. Certificates for governmental workers, business entities and individual entrepreneurs allow you to represent a company or a governmental organization and sign documents on behalf of it.
The Asan İmza (Mobile ID) certificates are valid for 3 years.
