How to restore the suspended certificates?

  • If wish to resume using the Asan İmza (Mobile ID) services after having suspended your certificates, you need to restore them. In order to do that, you must turn to the office of the Asan Certification Services Centre of the Ministry of Taxes (ASXM) and apply for certificate restoration. Please note that you need to bring an identification document with you. After signing the appropriate form, the certificates will be restored and you can start using the Asan İmza (Mobile ID) services again.
  • In certain cases an authorized governmental agency has permission to suspend your certificates without your consent. You will be informed of the performed operation by the Asan Certification Services Centre of the Ministry of Taxes (ASXM). The certificates suspended by a governmental agency can only be restored by the agency that suspended them.
  • If you use a business or governmental Asan İmza, the company or organization you represent also has the right to revoke your certificates without your consent. You will likewise be informed of the performed operation by the Asan Certification Services Centre of the Ministry of Taxes.

The Asan İmza (Mobile ID) is valid for 3 years (since the issue of certificates). To continue using the service, a new Asan İmza (Mobile ID) must be applied for (by subscribing with a mobile operator and applying for the certificates). It will be issued for the same period (3 years) as previous certificates.

If you have bought an Asan İmza (Mobile ID) SIM-card, but can no longer use it (e. g. the card is lost or defective), you can get a replacement card for a nominal fee (i. e. the cost of the SIM-card). In this case, you are not paying extra for Asan İmza (Mobile ID) services.

You can read more on ordering and suspending certificates on the website of the Asan Certification Services Centre of the Ministry of Taxes (ASXM).
